The exhibition "FDAD Professors"

Exhibition "FDAD Professors" opened between December 16, 2014 - January 10, 2015 at the Visual Arts Center in Bucharest, is the closing event of the celebration of the National University of Arts in Bucharest 150th anniversary.
At the exhibition opening Professor Catalin Balescu Ph.D., President of the National University of Arts in Bucharest and Associate Professor Cosmin Paulescu Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design have awarded Diplomas to all the 50 exhibiting artists, all professors at FDAD.
The exhibition "FDAD Professors" takes place in the same gallery in which almost one year ago was held the exhibition "FDAD Now" the event which marked the opening of UNARTE 150 Anniversary Year. If the exhibition "FDAD Now" was presenting a selection of works by students of the FDAD Departments, the exhibition "FDAD Professors", try to undertake an overview of the recent artistic concerns of the professors who are activating in the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design.
Referring to this event the FDAD Dean Cosmin Paulescu was asserting "The exhibition "FDAD Professors" is intending to be an educational insight into the creative and educatioal process currently held in FDAD and try also to discuss the binome Professor-Artist or Artist-Professor and the benefits of this state of grace of the artistic higher education at general and individual levels, and also the aspects involving the providential meeting of the students with a mentor capable of influencing influence their artistic evolution by opening new horizons of original aesthetical thought consistent to the rigors of contemporary art".
